Understanding Zanda Subscription Plans

Learn how Zanda’s current pricing structure works and which plan may apply to your practice

Zanda subscription pricing is designed to scale with your practice. The current plan structure is based on practice size and usage, so smaller practices can start simply, while growing and established practices have access to the capacity and features they need.

This article explains the available Zanda plans at a high level. It does not include specific prices, as pricing may vary depending on your region, currency, plan eligibility, and account setup.

How Zanda Subscription Pricing Works

Zanda currently offers subscription plans designed for different stages of practice growth.

Your subscription price may depend on factors such as:

  • Your number of practitioners
  • Your appointment volume
  • Your region and currency

The two main plans are:

  • Starter: Designed for solo practitioners getting started with Zanda
  • Growth: Designed for growing, established, or larger practices

For exact pricing, please refer to the current Zanda pricing page.

Starter Plan

The Starter plan is designed for solo practitioners who are starting or running a very small practice.

This plan is suitable for practices with:

  • 1 practitioner
  • A lower appointment volume - up to 1,000 client and group appointments in a lifetime
  • Core practice management needs

Growth Plan

The Growth plan is designed for established practices and growing teams that need more capacity and flexibility as they expand.

This plan is suitable for practices that need:

  • More practitioner capacity
  • Unlimited appointments
  • Multi-location management
  • Greater flexibility as the practice grows

Growth includes everything in Starter, plus additional features such as:

  • Unlimited appointments, users, and file storage
  • Practitioner Scheduling
  • Advanced Waitlist
  • Customizable Note Templates
  • Practice Operations Manual
  • Multiple Locations
  • Rooms and Resource Management

The Growth plan is designed to support practices as they expand, without needing to manage separate systems for scheduling, billing, notes, communication, forms, reporting, and practice operations.

What Is Included With Every Plan

Every Zanda plan includes support and onboarding resources to help your practice get started and keep running smoothly.

Support

Zanda provides support resources across every plan, including:

  • Chat and email support
  • Help from the Zanda support team
  • Access to the Zanda Knowledge Base
  • Video tutorials and learning resources

Data migration

Zanda also provides free data migration support to help you move your practice information into Zanda.

Depending on your plan and current system, this may include support with:

  • Importing your client list
  • Migrating your appointment schedule
  • Moving practice data from your previous system
  • Helping reduce disruption during the transition

Charity Pricing

Registered charities may be eligible for a 100% discount on Zanda subscription charges.

Charity Pricing has separate eligibility and setup requirements, including proof of registered charity status, a reference to Zanda on your organization’s website, and permission for Zanda to identify your organization as a customer.

Optional paid services and usage charges, including SMS, Telehealth Pro, and BizzyAI, are not included in the subscription discount.

See Charity Pricing for Registered Charities for eligibility requirements, what the discount covers, and how to apply.

What makes up your monthly Zanda charge

Your monthly Zanda charge is not a single price. It is your subscription plan plus whatever optional extras your practice used that month, which is why two practices on the same plan can pay different amounts.

Each part appears as its own line on your subscription invoice, with its own quantity, unit price, and tax:

  • Subscription. Your plan fee. On the Growth plan this is a base fee plus an amount for each active practitioner beyond the first, so it moves up or down as practitioners are activated or deactivated.
  • SMS. The SMS credits used during the period. The quantity on this line is the number of credits, not the number of messages, because a longer message uses more than one credit. See About SMS Messages and Fees.
  • Telehealth PRO. Charged for each practitioner subscribed to Telehealth Pro, not as a single practice fee. The quantity on this line is the number of subscribed practitioners and the unit price is the per-practitioner rate. See Zoom Telehealth Basic vs Pro.
  • AI Pro. Charged for each user subscribed to AI Pro. AI Core is included with every plan at no extra cost. See Introducing AI Core and AI Pro.
  • Any other add-on you have switched on, such as a Dedicated SMS Number, e-prescribing, or insurance claiming.
  • Tax, where your region adds it. It is shown against each line and again as a Total Tax amount.

A discount is not a separate line. It is already applied to your plan fee, so the Subscription line shows the discounted amount. Your current discounts are shown on the Subscription Information tab.

To see your own breakdown, go to User Menu > Your Account (or User Menu > Account Settings > Practice > Subscription) and open the Invoices and Receipts tab. See Accessing your Zanda Subscription Information and Payments.

What to check before asking whether you are on the best rate

If you are reviewing what Zanda costs your practice, these are the things you can check yourself first:

  • Your active practitioner count. Subscription pricing is based on active practitioner profiles, not user logins, so admin, reception, billing, and scheduler users do not add to it. Deactivating a practitioner who has left reduces the Subscription line from your next billing date. See Managing Your Zanda Subscription.
  • Your optional add-ons. The Optional Add-Ons tab shows which extras are switched on and who they cover, so you can turn off anything the practice no longer uses.
  • Your SMS usage. Click Reports and search for the SMS Usage report to see what was sent, by whom, over any date range.
  • Whether an introductory discount is ending. New subscriptions usually start with a limited-time discount, so a rise in your charge can be that discount finishing rather than a price change.

For the figure itself, Zanda support is the source. If you want your exact rate confirmed, your plan reviewed against your practice size, or your costs compared against another product you are considering, email the Zanda support team at [email protected].

Questions About Your Account Pricing

Pricing can vary depending on your account, practice size, location, currency, and subscription setup.

For this reason, the Zanda Knowledge Base and AI support chatbot cannot confirm your exact subscription price or account-specific billing details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I see the current Zanda prices?

You can view the latest pricing information on the Zanda pricing page.

Is tax added to my Zanda subscription price?

This depends on the region and currency your Zanda account is billed in.

  • Australian (AUD) accounts: 10% GST (goods and services tax) is added on top of the listed price.
  • All other regions, including Canada (CAD), the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Europe, and South Africa: no tax is added, so the listed price is the amount you pay.

The same rule applies to the optional extras billed alongside your subscription, such as Telehealth Pro, SMS credits, and BizzyAI usage.

Where tax does apply, it appears as its own tax amount on your invoice. You can download any invoice or tax invoice from the Invoices and Receipts tab of your Subscription page (User Menu > Your Account).

For questions about a specific charge on your account, please contact the Zanda support team at [email protected]

Will imported client records affect whether I need Starter or Growth?

Starter eligibility is based on appointment volume, not the number of client records in your account. Importing client records into a trial or paid account does not, by itself, use the Starter appointment allowance.

Personal appointments are not included in the Starter appointment count. If your data migration includes historical appointments, Zanda support can confirm how those appointment dates apply to your plan eligibility before you convert your trial account.

Your available plan and price may also depend on your region and currency. Use the Zanda pricing page for current pricing in your location, and contact Zanda support if you have questions about an account-specific or introductory offer.

Does my plan or free trial limit how many services (appointment types) I can create?

No. Zanda does not cap the number of services you can set up, on the Starter plan, on the Growth plan, or during your free trial. You can add as many services as your practice offers, and assign as many of them to a practitioner as you need.

The Starter plan’s volume limit applies to appointments, not to services: up to 1,000 client and group appointments over the lifetime of the account. Adding more services does not use any part of that appointment allowance.

It helps to separate two things that sound alike:

  • Services are the named appointments you configure and bill for, such as “Initial Consultation” or “Follow Up”. You create these under User Menu > Account Settings > Billing > Services, and there is no maximum. See Adding and Editing Services.
  • The three appointment types are the fixed categories for a calendar entry: Client, Personal, and Group. There are always exactly three, and they are not something you add to. See Three Types Of Appointments.

If you are seeing a message or a screen that looks like a cap on how many services you can add, please contact the Zanda support team at [email protected] with a screenshot so they can check your account.

Where can I check appointment counts for plan or pricing questions?

You can review your account’s current appointment count from User Menu > Account Settings > Practice > Subscription. This page shows the current appointment count and active practitioner count used when selecting a plan.

If you want to review appointments for a specific period, such as one month, click Reports and search for the Export Appointments report. Set the Start and End dates, filter by Appointment Practitioner if needed, then run the report and export the results to CSV for a detailed appointment list.

For client-level appointment totals, click Reports and search for the Appointment Count report. This report finds clients who had a selected number of appointments within a date range. It is useful for reviewing client activity, but it is not the same as the account-level appointment count shown on the Subscription page.

Can I pay for my Zanda subscription annually?

Zanda supports only monthly automatic subscription billing periods. Please contact Zanda support if you would like to discuss annual billing for your account.

Why does this article not show specific prices?

Prices may vary depending on your region, currency, practice size, plan eligibility, and account setup. To avoid confusion, this article explains the plan structure only.

For current prices, please visit the pricing page or contact Zanda support.

Which plan is right for my practice?

The Starter plan is generally designed for solo practitioners getting started with Zanda. The Growth plan is designed for growing, established, or larger practices that need more capacity and advanced workflows.

If you are unsure which plan applies to your account, please contact Zanda support.

Do admin or scheduler users increase my subscription cost?

No. Zanda subscription pricing is based on active practitioner profiles, not user logins. You can add admin, reception, billing, or scheduler users without changing your subscription cost as long as they are not linked to an active practitioner profile.

Create a practitioner profile only when the person needs their own calendar for appointments, services, availability, practitioner-specific billing details, or practitioner integrations. To review the counts used for plan selection, go to User Menu > Account Settings > Practice > Subscription

Does adding a Location, room, or resource increase my subscription cost?

No. Your subscription price is based on your plan and your number of active practitioners, not on how many Locations or Resources you set up. Setting up rooms or equipment as Resource Items doesn’t add anything to the Subscription line on your invoice, and neither does adding a Location.

Which plan your account is on depends on your active practitioner count and appointment count, not on how many Locations or Resources you have set up.

To set these up, see Setting Up and Using Multiple Locations and Setting Up Resources.

Why does my subscription price increase after the first few months?

New Zanda subscriptions typically start with a limited-time introductory discount, so the price you pay in the first few months is lower than the standard, ongoing price for your plan, region, and number of practitioners. Once that introductory period ends, your subscription reverts to the standard price.

The length of the introductory period and the size of the discount can vary by account, so this article does not list exact figures or timeframes. Zanda emails your account ahead of the change, so you have advance notice before the standard price takes effect.

To confirm the introductory discount period and price for your account, contact the Zanda support team at [email protected]

Can support confirm the price for my existing account?

Yes. If you have questions about your current subscription, billing, or account-specific pricing, please contact Zanda support by emailing [email protected].

Will my plan change automatically as my practice grows?

Your plan eligibility may depend on your practice size and usage. If your practice grows beyond the limits of your current plan, your account will move to a plan that better supports your practice needs. You will see a notification pop up in your Zanda account when this happens.

🚨 Please contact Zanda support if you have questions about how this applies to your account.
