Starting a Trial Account

Start a 14-day free Zanda trial to explore the features and set up your practice. Follow our quick setup guide to get going, no credit card required.

In today's fast-paced business environment, finding the perfect tools to streamline your operations is more than a mere convenience—it's a necessity. We understand that the journey to optimizing your practice operations can often feel overwhelming. With a myriad of options available, how do you choose the right client management software that not only meets your unique needs, but also seamlessly integrates into your current workflow?

This is where the power of trial accounts comes into play. Signing up for a 14-day free Zanda trial account offers a risk-free exploration of its features, functionalities, and fit. In this article, we will explore how to sign up for a free trial account and go through the basic setup.

Starting a Trial Account

  1. To start a new trial account, use one of these links:
    1. for the USA / Canada region: https://us.zandahealth.com/Instant-Account
    2. for the UK/EUregion: https://uk.zandahealth.com/Instant-Account
    3. for the AUS/Oceania region: https://my.zandahealth.com/Instant-Account
  2. Sign up for the 14-day free trial account. You only need to enter the basic information, such as your name, email address, business name, select your country, and set up a password. You can start a trial as a sole practitioner, or add more practitioners and admin users to your trial account at this stage or few days later.
Do not worry, you will be able to add or remove practitioners at any day later. Also, no credit/debit card is required to start a trial.
  3. Click “Start for free now” button to finish creating your trial account.

Can my free trial be extended?

Extending a trial isn’t something we do as a matter of course, we’d rather help you convert to a paid plan so you can keep going without a break. Your free trial runs for 14 days from the day you create your account, and there is no setting in Zanda that lets you extend it yourself.

If you have a genuine reason you need more time, for example you were offered extra trial days or you’re not quite ready to convert, contact Zanda and explain your circumstances. Include:

  • the email address on your Zanda account (or your business name),
  • a copy of, or a link to, the offer if you received one, and
  • why you need the extra time.

The team will review your request against your account and, where it’s approved, set a new trial end date. There is no discount, coupon, or promo code field anywhere in Zanda, so contacting the team is the only way an extension or an offer gets applied. This is the same process used for a partner or member association offer.

To check a new end date has been applied, click Start Your Plan at the top of the menu. That page shows how many days are left in your free trial and the date of your first bill. Converting before your trial ends does not cost you the days you have left: your first billing date follows your trial end date, so you can pick a plan whenever you are ready and still use the rest of your trial.

Zanda Setup Wizard Overview

  1. The Zanda Setup Wizard will meet you at your first step into your Zanda account.
  2. Click the ‘Next’ button to proceed to the next step.
  3. The required step is your Business Information. You can come back and update the rest of the information later.
  4. The Setup Wizard will guide you through setting up the practitioner information, services for billing, online portal for 24/7 appointment bookings, and provide an overview of additional resources.
  5. During your 14-day trial period, the Setup Wizard will always be available via the sidebar menu.
  6. There is no button to dismiss or remove the Setup Wizard yourself—it disappears from the sidebar menu on its own. During your free trial it stays available for the whole trial period and is removed once your trial ends. If you have upgraded to a paid subscription, the Setup Wizard remains for two weeks after you subscribe and then disappears automatically.

Sample data in your new account

When your new account is created, Zanda adds a couple of sample clients—such as “John Smith” and “Mary Lee”—along with a sample appointment on the calendar (you’ll usually see it dated for the next day). This is example data to help you see how clients and appointments look in Zanda before you add your own. It isn’t a real client or a real booking, so there’s nothing you need to do about it and no one is actually scheduled.

Both sample clients are given the email address you used when you signed up for Zanda, so it’s expected to find your own email address on their client profiles. If you notice one or two clients you don’t remember creating with your own email address on them, that’s this sample data. Zanda added them automatically when your account was set up; they are not a sign that someone else has accessed your account. Changing your email address later doesn’t update the sample clients, so they keep the address you signed up with. Your sign-up email address may also appear as the From Email Address on your communication templates; see Changing Email Addresses in Your Account for every place to update it.

When you’re ready to clear the sample data, you can remove it the same way you’d remove any client—deleting a sample client also removes its sample appointment. See Archiving, Deleting, Unarchiving and Restoring Clients for the steps.
