Overview
Form authentication is now configured on each form template instead of through a single account-wide switch. You choose which templates require a client to verify their identity before opening a form, and which forms open straight away. Your existing forms keep working, and there is nothing you need to do to prepare.
Authentication is turned on by default on new client form templates. Forms that pre-populate linked profile fields always require authentication, because Form pre-population is only available on templates that have Form authentication turned on.
What’s New
Authentication is set on the form template. Go to Tools > Form Designer and create or edit a client form template. Form authentication and Form pre-population sit directly beneath the Template Name field.
Date of birth can be the authentication method. Turn on Enable Date of Birth for Form Authentication in Communication Options, under Notes & Forms, to have clients confirm the date of birth already stored on their profile. With that setting off, clients confirm their email address or mobile number instead. A contact, such as a parent or guardian, can also authenticate on a client’s behalf once you allow it on their contact record.
