The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)
The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) trains and supports physiotherapists and healthcare professionals in the use of acupuncture to treat pain.
About The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)
AACP represents physiotherapists interested in integrating Western Evidence-based Acupuncture into mainstream physiotherapy for the management of pain and systemic conditions.
The Association is a professional network affiliated with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). AACP represents its members to lawmakers, the public, the NHS, and private health insurers.
The Association was founded over 30 years ago and has grown steadily to become the organisation it is today, offering Acupuncture Foundation courses to physiotherapists wanting to expand their skill set and advance their careers. AACP also provides CPD courses across the UK, allowing delegates to further enhance their understanding of acupuncture application in physiotherapy.
The AACP is made up of around 6,000 physiotherapists who use acupuncture in clinical management, both in the National Health Service (NHS) and private practice.
