Waitlist to Effortlessly Fill Cancellations
Cancellations are inevitable for health practices, but they shouldn’t cause extra work or allow time to be wasted. They can occur for many reasons; maybe your client’s availability has changed, or they simply no longer require their appointment. To ensure there is no financial loss, cancellations would usually be followed up with manual outreach, by either yourself or your team, which is extremely time-consuming.

Both Clinic-Assist and Zanda are web-based practice management software, meaning they can be easily accessed and used from anywhere in the world from a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Clinic-Assist is a UK based company, but whilst their software can be used by practices based outside of the UK, they require all clients to have a UK billing address, which could prove to be extremely problematic for the majority of practices operating outside of the UK.

Our most popular integrations are Xero to provide simple and professional invoicing; Stripe for seamless payment processing, allowing you to request prepayment, as well as enabling your clients to pay online through the client portal; and Mailchimp to increase your marketing efforts and improve your client relationships.
Whilst Clinic-Assist also integrates with Xero, the main integration they provide is with Vitalograph, and although this will be useful for some health professions, the vast majority would not benefit.

Accept Online Bookings with the Client Portal
Both Clinic-Assist and Zanda have a client portal, but with very different functionalities; the most notable difference being the online booking capabilities. Unlike Zanda, Clinic-Assist does not allow clients to book their own appointments online. Allowing clients to do this not only saves you time on administration, but also enables clients to book at their convenience, which allows for round-the-clock appointments (and payments)!
With Zanda you can add a ‘book now’ link to your website or facebook page, with clients then able to view their preferred clinician’s availability, as well as book, reschedule or cancel their own appointments, and even pay for them at the time of booking.

Advanced Appointment Reminders
With no-shows being a common problem for health practices, it is not unusual for practice management systems to offer automated appointment reminders. Although this is offered by Clinic-Assist, users are restricted to only one email and/or SMS reminder per appointment, sending 48 hours prior to the booking.
